Northern State University and the Department of Psychology and Counselor Education invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Psychology.
Responsibilities include teaching both face-to-face and online undergraduate and, possibly, graduate courses in a learner-centered environment.
Responsibilities will also include scholarly activity, and service within the department, school, university, and discipline.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in Psychology or closely related field; however, applicants who complete their degree before the date of appointment will be considered. Candidates should have the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses across core areas of the psychology curriculum using a variety of innovative and engaging instructional strategies. Topics include developmental, cognitive, biological, and social psychology as well as testing and measurement, statistics, and research methodologies.
