Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Team Leader for the Children’s Immunisation Service within NHS Tayside. The postholder will provide operational management and leadership to this nurse‑led team, ensuring safe and effective delivery of childhood immunisation programmes across Tayside.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational management and leadership to the national children's immunisation team.
* Support delivery of the National Vaccination Transformation Programme and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
* Motivate and support staff, manage teams and coordinate clinical services.
* Work independently or as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, being proactive and solution‑focused.
Key Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with experience and currently holding UK NMC registration on Sub‑part 1 (RNA) or Sub‑part 2 (RN2).
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and a commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred care.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience of managing teams or coordinating clinical services.
* Ability to work autonomously and support the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Willingness to travel across Tayside; post is based in Dundee.
