Electrical Test Engineer

Main Duties
* Carry out full testing and inspection of equipment in a manufacturing environment
* Connect electrical, water, and mechanical systems for testing
* Perform fault finding and diagnostics, including live PLC troubleshooting
* Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analysers
* Work with high‑voltage systems
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
* Complete testing documentation and quality records
* Sign off equipment prior to dispatch
Qualifications
* Educated to HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
* Strong knowledge of single & three‑phase systems and high‑power circuits
* Experience working with live electrical equipment
* Understanding of analogue and digital electronics
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* High attention to detail and quality standards
* Excellent problem‑solving skills
* Mechanically minded with practical hands‑on ability
* Flexibility for international travel to meet the needs of the role
