About AES Food Equipment
AES Food Equipment is a specialist UK supplier of equipment to the food production factories. We work with leading European manufacturers to supply meat rail installations, abattoir equipment, hygiene entrances, and industrial washing machines.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable, organised Purchasing & Customer Service Coordinator to join our small, friendly team in Clevedon.
About the Role
This is a varied position supporting both purchasing and customer operations. You'll manage customer orders from confirmation through to delivery, liaising with suppliers, raising purchase orders, arranging transport and import documentation, and keeping customers fully informed.
It's an ideal role for someone who's methodical, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys seeing jobs through from start to finish.
You'll:
* Process customer orders and create purchase orders for suppliers
* Liaise with suppliers and freight partners to arrange deliveries and collections
* Keep customers updated with order status, dispatch details, and after-sales support
* Coordinate with our warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch and accurate stock handling
* Track shipments and update internal systems (Zoho / Excel / email)
* Assist with import documentation and logistics scheduling
* Support general office administration when required
Skills & Experience
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Confident using Excel, email, and online systems
* Experience in a coordination, purchasing, or customer service role
* Ability to multitask and follow processes accurately
* A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
* Experience with stock or logistics systems (e.g. Zoho, Xero, ERP) – desirable but not essential
What We Offer
* £25,000–£27,000 per year depending on experience
* Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (on-site in Clevedon)
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off
