Reception Teacher (Full Time)
Location: NN6 Area, Northamptonshire
Start Date: Monday, 2nd September 2025
Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in the NN6 area is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team starting 2nd September 2025.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop key skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to support children’s development
* Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* A caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children
