Overview
Role: Administrative Assistant
Location: Hybrid, 1 day per week in office
Duration: 12 Months
Purpose of Assignment
Provides high quality administrative and organisation support to ensure the smooth running of the Legal Department in order to help the team achieve its business objectives
Key Deliverables
* General admin support including:
* Financial related support including raising Purchase Order and liaising with various vendors for payment related matters
* Diary organisation and room bookings
* Arranging travel
* Managing expenses
* Compilation of reports and support with ad hoc document requests including formatting, proof reading, Powerpoint slidedecks
* Maintains a high level of confidentiality
* Organizes teleconferences/Teams meetings/Videoconferences as required
* Maintains a good working knowledge of all relevant associated internal systems and attends internal training/update meetings as required
* Carries out one off projects as requested
* Document management/formatting as requested
* Other such duties as may be reasonably required by the business
Skills & Experience
* Minimum HNC, A' level, NVQ3, Secretarial qualification or equivalent
* Experience in a legal environment preferable
* Relevant work experience in a comparable setting
* Pharma sector experience also useful but not essential
* Proven expertise in utilising MS Office and various databases (typing, input, updating, reporting).
* Experienced in dealing with internal company stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to liaise credibly and challenge appropriately with due consideration for cultural differences.
* Excellent and accurate typing
* Excellent English language skills including spelling and grammar
