Position
An Account Director is a senior role responsible for managing the overall relationship between Stark and its key suppliers. This position involves working closely with high-value and strategic accounts, ensuring supplier satisfaction with the services provided, and identifying opportunities to drive business growth. The Account Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supplier Account Management team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Manage two Strategic Account Managers daily.
* Serve as the primary contact for high-value suppliers, building and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
* Engage regularly with key suppliers to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, fostering a collaborative partnership.
* Develop and execute account strategies aligning Stark’s objectives with the supplier’s goals, seeking opportunities to expand and maximize value.
* Lead tailored plans to grow business through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic initiatives.
* Pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue, aligning account plans with growth strategies.
* Lead contract renewals, renegotiations, and service term discussions for mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Implement strategies to retain suppliers, prevent churn, and resolve concerns swiftly.
* Deliver revenue forecasts and monitor KPIs to ensure client engagement and success.
* Represent Stark at conferences, exhibitions, and other forums to promote energy solutions and brand awareness.
* Participate in training to stay current with industry trends and develop skills.
* Adhere to Stark policies, procedures, and safety practices.
* Use work equipment safely and collaborate on health and safety compliance.
* Perform other duties supporting broader business objectives.
