Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) to support students in a vibrant and inclusive school in the local area. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday during term time only - perfect for someone seeking consistency and work-life balance within a school environment.
Role Overview:
* Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEN
* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour support strategies
* Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils
* Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
* A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
