About the Role
Do you want to join leading UK manufacturer of paper hygiene products with more than 50 years in their field?
We are looking for a Shift supervisor to guarantee that safety, quality, efficiency, delivery and cost objectives connected to shift production activities are achieved, in compliance with Group policies.
As a Shift Supervisor you will work a 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern of two days (06:00-18:00) and two nights (18:00-06:00).

* GMP Audits
* Champion ‘Safety Culture’ and be an ambassador for ‘Behavioural Based Safety’.
* Ensure that products meet required Product Specification.
* Inspires employees by creating targets and objectives, providing training and guidance for them to succeed.
* Demonstrated the right behaviour and sets the same expectations of their employees, including- Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Routine, Sense of Urgency
* Supervises direct reports and uses performance management framework to develop operators skills and knowledge
* Promotes innovative solutions to maximize efficiency.
* Co-operates with maintenance office in order to guarantee the best possible production efficiency
* Co-ordination with the other functions in charge of equipment operation
* Controls paper and raw material waste on shift.
* Labour Cost control.
Essential Skills
Essential:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
Desirable:
* Great attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
