Job Description
* Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients within the professional services sector.
* Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members during audits.
* Coordinate with clients to understand their business needs and address audit-related queries.
* Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
* Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting and auditing regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Proven experience in conducting audits within the professional services sector.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work to tight deadlines.
