We are hiring a Senior Practitioner to join our dedicated LD Framework Service in Grimsby. This role is vital in supporting the registered manager with the delivery of Support Living/HRS services. Responsibilities Strategic and Policy Responsibility - To assist in the development of and to implement and review Humbercare policies and procedures, as well as identify gaps and improvements in service provision to bring forward to the attention of the Head of Services team. Reputational of Organisation and Professional - To completely ensure all communication about all services is communicated in a professional, accurate and effective manner. To represent the wider organisation in a professional manner and assist the Registered Manner to ensure there is regular and effective liaison. Service Delivery - To lead on and support the Registered Manner to ensure that service delivery is compliant with all CQC legislative and fundamental standard requirements. People Management - To lead and provide professional management support to all staff for which you are responsible, to work in collaboration with the Registered Manager, Head of Services and HR with regards to recruitment, induction and learning and development. Financial Monitoring - To ensure that all services expenditure is monitored and in accordance with Humbercare service budgets and authorised limits. Safeguarding and Risk Management - To assist the Registered Manager on safeguarding implementation and good practice in all services including referring and reporting under Local Authority responsibilities. Organisational Development - To develop and deliver good practice on life skills and participation both internally and externally when so required as well as promoting the organisation and effectively publicise and market the services, identifying funding and other initiatives within the community. General Responsibilities - Always implement and positively promote equality and diversity in service delivery and employment practices to ensure compliance with Humbercare's Equality and Diversity Policy Qualifications/Education/Training Educated to NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent Obtained or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in housing/care/support A sound understanding of the Supported Living environment and delivery Experience of leadership within Care Quality Commission registered services Working knowledge of varying Complex Needs and their impact on the ability for a person to maintain independent living Experience of delivery of support and line management of staff Good IT skills inclusive of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy Experience of auditing, report writing, analysing outcomes and service improvement planning Current full driving licence or effective access to public transport This position is 20 hours per week which requires flexibility across 7 days as required, inclusive of supporting on-call responsibility out of office opening hours.
