Job Description: Business Development Manager – Southwest
DekBoard are part of the Epwin Group, a progressive and rapidly expanding decking system supplier and installer. Leaders in decking installations within the leisure market with extensive expertise in the domestic sector also.
This vacancy offers opportunity for a Business Development Manager operating across the southwest of England from Devon & Cornwall to West Dorset.
To support our recent growth and expanding customer base we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Manager to work closely with our existing customer base & seek new business.
This role requires close liaison with our Installation teams and reports to the Head of Sales to provide decking and associated product installations within this area.

Role:
1. Initiate and nurture new business via networking and cold calling.
2. Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
3. Identify customer requirements and offer suitable product solutions.
4. Travel between locations within the Devon, Cornwall & West Dorset area including
5. Travelling outside of your base area to attend meetings and events, including nights away.
6. Obtain and share market research relating to new accounts, business opportunities and competitors.
7. Produce appropriate presentations, sales reports and updates.
8. Complete and share accurate site surveys and quotations.
9. Ability to close deals, achieve targets and deadlines.
10. Manage your own workload and diary to maximise opportunities.
11. Promote and secure sales of existing and new product lines including decking, hot tubs, pergolas, and outdoor furniture.
12. “Can do” attitude and approach are essential.
13. This is a field-based role therefore clean driving licence required.
