Our client, specialises in designing and supplying insulated precast flooring systems that provide high thermal efficiency and cost-effective solutions for housebuilders, developers, and contractors.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Revit Designer to join their friendly and professional commercial team based in March, Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CAD and Revit experience within the construction industry who is looking to develop their career in a collaborative and fast-paced design environment.
Responsibilities:

Produce detailed design layouts using bespoke Revit software.
*
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure design accuracy.
*
Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to obtain design information, approvals, and feedback.
*
Amend and update drawings in line with client requirements and engineering specifications.
*
Work closely with design, planning, and manufacturing teams to ensure projects meet deadlines and production requirements.
*
Manage and resolve technical queries throughout the design process.
*
Monitor workload and prioritise design tasks to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
*
Conduct final checks on drawings before projects move into the manufacturing stage.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 2 years’ CAD experience within the construction industry (preferred).
*
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
*
Understanding of architectural and engineering drawings and construction design processes.
*
High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and other office software.
*
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
*
Confident communication skills when dealing with clients, architects, and engineers.
*
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a design team.
*
Proactive attitude with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
