Location: Can be based out of Bishop Auckland, Durham, Peterlee or Consett.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week - There is a possibility of evening/weekend work depending on services needs

Salary: £25,110 - £32,090

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed Children, Young People and Family Worker to support families facing complex challenges.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you will manage a caseload, deliver evidence-based interventions and work alongside partner agencies to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes for children and families.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of children, young people and families
- Building trusting, respectful relationships
- Contributing to assessments and Early Help planning
- Delivering tailored 1:1 interventions and structured group programmes (including CRAFT and SMART Groups)
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate case records
- Ensuring safeguarding remains central to your work
- Working flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in working with children, young people and families
- Skilled at engaging individuals facing complex or challenging circumstances
- Confident managing a caseload and balancing competing demands
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Compassionate, resilient and solution-focused
An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential, or a willingness to work towards it.
Experience in therapeutic approaches such as CBT, MI or family-based interventions would be advantageous.
