Service Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated Service Manager to lead and develop a global team of field-based engineers, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for the Service Manager:
* Lead, manage, and supervise a team of field service engineers ensuring high standards of service delivery.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance efficiency of service operations.
* Coordinate and oversee all field operations, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery.
* Act as a key liaison between the company and its customers, addressing and resolving complex service issues, and fostering trust and long-term relationships.
* Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and support the professional development of your team.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and projects, to enhance overall customer satisfaction and operational success.
* Lead efforts to identify opportunities for service improvement, innovation, aftermarket revenue growth, and cost reduction.
* Implement best practices in service management and engineering.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar leadership role, ideally within a related machinery or engineering sector
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a technical team.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstratable ability to manage and resolve issues in a dynamic environment.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel as required.

* A basic salary between £60,000 to £70,000 pa (salary level dependent on experience)
