Pastoral Teaching Assistant (KS2 & KS3) Location: Dorchester Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday) Duration: Until the end of the academic year Start Date: ASAP Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive and welcoming middle school in Dorchester to recruit a dedicated Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is available immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ wellbeing and personal development. The Role: Providing pastoral support across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 Supporting pupils with emotional, social and behavioural needs Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions Working closely with the pastoral lead and wider staff team Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing across the school Full-time, Monday to Friday The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable) Confident supporting pupils with SEMH or additional needs Patient, resilient and nurturing in approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
