Events Coordinator – Private Equity (Initially ongoing temp with a strong possibility of going permanent)


Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Coordinator to support the delivery of a programme of high-profile events within a fast-paced private equity environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to senior stakeholders, portfolio company executives, and key industry partners, while playing a key role in driving engagement across the firm’s network.

The successful candidate will provide operational and platform support to the Marketing and External Affairs team, with responsibility for event coordination, stakeholder data management, and collaboration platform administration.

Core working hours are 09:00–17:00, with flexibility required around event delivery, including occasional early starts and late finishes.


Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination

* Support the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events
* Assist with attendee management, registrations, and communications
* Coordinate event materials, including guest lists, badges, and briefing documents
* Provide on-the-day operational support to ensure smooth delivery
* Assist with post-event reporting and engagement analysis

Platform & CRM Management

* Build and manage event pages within the event management platform
* Track registrations, responses, and attendance data
* Maintain stakeholder and C-suite contact lists within the CRM system
* Support reporting and analysis of engagement across events

Research & Logistics

* Conduct research on venues, locations, and guest speakers
* Support supplier coordination and event logistics
* Assist with ad-hoc research projects for senior stakeholders

Collaboration Platform Support

* Upload content and event materials to the collaboration platform
* Track community engagement and participation
* Assist with day-to-day platform administration

Skills & Experience

* Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Confident liaising with senior stakeholders and executives
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused approach
* Ability to work effectively under pressure
* Experience with CRM or event management platforms desirable
* Experience in events, marketing, financial services, or professional services preferred
