Contentious Probate Solicitor
We are a well‑established, highly regarded regional law firm looking for a Contentious Probate Solicitor. The team specialises in complex probate disputes, including will challenges, inheritance claims, and executor disagreements. In this role, you’ll handle your own caseload, draft legal documents, advise clients, and work closely with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in business development and contribute to the team’s profile through networking, seminars, and articles.
Responsibilities
* Managing a variety of contentious probate matters from start to finish
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents
* Providing clear, practical guidance to clients throughout disputes
* Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties as needed
* Supporting business development initiatives to grow the practice
Qualifications
* Solicitor with contentious probate or relevant civil litigation experience
* Excellent client management, drafting, and communication skills
* Able to work independently while collaborating within a supportive team
* Commercially minded, proactive, and motivated to develop your career
