Salary:petitiveAre you passionate about driving the transition to net-zero? A leading energy organisation is seeking a Renewable Energy Projects Lead to support the delivery of innovative decarbonisation initiatives across renewable gas, energy efficiency, and heat technologies.
Your new role
As the Renewable Energy Projects Lead, you’ll play a key role in progressing the organisation’s energy transition strategy. You’ll manage demonstration and trial projects, engage with industrial andmercial stakeholders, and contribute to policy development and internal decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the delivery of renewable energy workstreams including biomethane, green hydrogen, and hybrid heating systems
2. Engaging with industrialmercial energy users to promote decarbonisation opportunities
3. Leading collaborative trials and demonstration projects with external partners
4. Monitoring policy and regulatory developments across NI, UK, Ireland, and Europe
5. Providing internal updates and impact analysis to senior management
6. Contributing tomercial decision-making and green growth initiative
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
7. A degree or relevant vocational qualification
8. At least 1 year’s experience in project management, renewable energy, consultancy, or public affairs
9. Strongmunication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality briefings
10. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
11. A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
12. Desirable experience:Collaborating with external partners on joint projectsEngaging with large industrial,mercial, or public sector organisationsManaging multiple projects with time-bound objectives
