Our Domestic Services Department takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our services. Healthcare Cleaners are valued members of the Healthcare Team and are respected for the work they do.
Healthcare Cleaners provide a range of cleaning duties across the Trust and support services to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective service to all patients, staff, and visitors is delivered.
A variety of hours are available, including:
* 6am-9:30am, Monday - Friday
* 7am-1:30pm, Monday - Friday
* 7am-1:30pm, Saturday-Sunday
* 1:30pm-8pm, Monday - Friday
* 4:30pm-8pm, Monday - Friday
Basic knowledge of cleaning standards, which can include wards, outpatient/clinical areas, is required. You must be able to work alone or as part of a team.

The role involves delivering the highest standards of cleaning service to the ward at all times, observing work schedules and The National Specifications for cleanliness in the NHS requirements. This includes changing window nets, curtains, screens, and bed curtains; wiping/washing net and shower curtains periodically; and making beds on residential areas.
Additional responsibilities include damp wiping of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings, ledges, pipes, tiles, glass partitions, walls, doors, and panels, internal window blinds.
The successful candidates will receive full induction training.
