Teaching Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School – BL4 – Temp to Perm
An Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in the BL4 area is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students across a range of year groups from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive school with excellent facilities and a strong inclusion team. The role will involve supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom, including providing personal care where required.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting students with additional learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour support
* Providing personal care support in line with school policies
* Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
* Encouraging students’ academic and personal development

Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people
* A patient, caring and proactive attitude
* Confidence supporting students with additional needs
* Willingness to provide personal care support where required
Location: BL4 Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Temp to Perm Pay: Competitive daily rate depending on experience
