What You’ll Be Doing
* Taking ownership of delivery for large-scale software projects within government and defence.
* Managing project planning, progress tracking, reporting and escalation where needed.
* Balancing agile and traditional project management to keep delivery on track.
* Building strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and customers.
* Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Adapting delivery methods to suit project needs, including agile and scaled agile frameworks.
* Actively contributing to the wider delivery community, sharing best practice and mentoring colleagues.
Main Skills Needed
* Experience managing agile software projects, ideally within government or large organisations.
* Strong understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
* Commercial awareness covering budgets, risk and forecasting.
* Ability to build, support and lead high-performing teams.
* Eligible for high-level security clearance (British citizen, UK resident for the last 5 years).
