Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Support Manager to lead and develop a high-performing Business Support team within a key corporate department. This role is responsible for delivering an efficient, professional, and responsive administrative service, driving process improvements, and supporting departmental change initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop the Business Support team to deliver high-quality administrative services. Implement and monitor business support standards, policies, and procedures. Drive departmental and cross-departmental process improvements and change initiatives. Oversee complaints, FOI requests, performance data, and statutory returns. Support corporate projects, financial planning, and continuous performance improvement. Act as a transformation agent to improve systems, processes, and service delivery. Candidate Requirements: Proven leadership and team management experience Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure Experience driving process improvements and managing change Eligible to work in the UK Desirable: Experience in local government, corporate services, or business support management Familiarity with data reporting, FOI requests, and performance monitoring Location: Downshire Civic Centre, Downpatrick Hours: 36 per week | Start Date: 23 February 2026 Pay: PAYE: £20.86/hr
