We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-18 secondary school & sixth form in West Leicestershire who are seeking an experienced andmitted Health & Social Care Teacher. This is a full-time and long-term job to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
5. Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across KS4 and KS5
6. Supporting students in their understanding of core topics such as human development, health principles, safeguarding, and care values.
7. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
8. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
9. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Requirements
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
11. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
12. Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Health and Social Care
13. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
14. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
