Duties:
7. Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with DVSA guidelines to ensure safety and compliance
8. Complete detailed inspections and provide clear, honest reports to customers and service advisors
9. Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace to the highest safety and cleanliness standards
10. Support the service team with vehicle inspections, repairs, and general maintenance tasks as needed
11. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and MOT regulation changes to guarantee quality service
12. Build positive relationships with customers through transparency and trustful communication
Individual spec:
13. Must hold a valid DVSA MOT Tester licence
14. Previous experience as an MOT Tester within a dealership, independent garage, or fast-fit centre
15. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance practices
16. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
17. Organised with good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
18. A self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work and values customer satisfaction
19. Holder of a valid UK driving licence
