Support the delivery of a comprehensive homelessness prevention service by engaging landlords and securing access to private rented sector accommodation for those in housing need.
THE ROLE
This role is responsible for working with private landlords and partner agencies to source and sustain accommodation for households at risk of homelessness.
Liaise with landlords to secure private sector tenancies for vulnerable households
Administer landlord incentives and ensure housing standards compliance
Support tenancy sustainment through ongoing casework and advice
Promote private renting as a viable housing solution
Deliver tailored support plans for clients at risk of homelessness
Maintain accurate records and produce data reports for performance monitoring
Collaborate with housing, social care, and support agencies across Doncaster
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a housing or homelessness prevention role, particularly involving the private rented sector.
Proven ability to manage caseloads and prioritise tasks effectively
Experience liaising with external agencies and landlords
Working knowledge of housing legislation including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Understanding of safeguarding principles and GDPR compliance
THE CONTRACT
9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
3 Month Contract, Temp to Perm
The pay for the role is £19.60 per hour LTD company rate.
The PAYE equivalent is £16.82 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
