Salary: 28,000.00 - 32,240.00 per annum
Background and Role Overview
The Activity Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied program of recreational and wellbeing activities for Service Users (SUs) residing at the site. The role involves working collaboratively with local organisations, charities, and community groups to enhance engagement and integration opportunities for SUs, ensuring all activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and aligned with the needs and interests of the SU population.
Programme Development & Delivery
* Design and implement a weekly and monthly calendar of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, language classes, cultural events, and wellbeing sessions.
* Conduct regular feedback sessions with SUs to assess interests and adapt activities accordingly.
* Ensure all activities are risk‑assessed and comply with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Community Engagement
* Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations, charities, and volunteers to support activity delivery.
* Coordinate visits, workshops, and events with external providers and community groups.
* Promote integration and community cohesion through collaborative initiatives.
Service User Support
* Encourage participation and engagement from all SUs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
* Provide a welcoming and supportive environment during activities.
* Identify and elevate any welfare concerns to the appropriate internal teams.
Administration & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and outcomes of activities.
* Prepare monthly reports for the Site Manager and Operations Manager.
* Manage activity budgets and resources effectively.
Connect and Collaborate
* Work closely with the line manager, welfare and support teams to align activities with SU needs.
* Attend internal and external meetings as requested.
* Support volunteers involved in activity delivery.
* Provide on‑the‑job training to team members and offer cover for other staff as agreed.

* Stay informed of local opportunities and services that may benefit SUs.
* Respond promptly to feedback and adapt activities to meet changing needs.
* Keep up‑to‑date with all written and verbal communications (e.g. emails, messages, calls).
* Ensure all records are maintained and kept up‑to‑date according to company policies and procedures.
