Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Brighouse
Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Salary: Competitive – Negotiable depending on experience
We are working with a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing business in the Brighouse area to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Role Overview:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued reliability and performance of electrical systems and machinery within a busy production environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding skills, preventative maintenance expertise, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and electrical systems

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
*
Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively
*
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
*
Maintain clear and accurate records of all work completed
*
Support health & safety procedures and safe working practices
*
Liaise with production and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities
*
Supervise junior team members where required
Candidate Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3, BTEC or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
*
Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
*
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
*
Familiarity with PLCs and the ability to fault-find (programming not required)
*
Able to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
*
Good communication and team collaboration skills
*
Welding knowledge is beneficial but not essential
*
Flexible and willing to support shift cover when necessary
