Overview
Technical Services Manager – Core hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Location: 76 Southbank, SE1 – Site Based. Reporting To: Account Manager. Integral UK Ltd are recruiting for a Technical Services Manager based at 76 Southbank, a redeveloped office building along the River Thames in London's Southbank. The role provides a high quality and compliant technical service to the PAM 76 Southbank, ensuring efficient service provision in line with budgets and service specifications. Monitor and report on the quality and financial performance of all services within the contract, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Customer Liaison: Lead on-site communications and provide information on service plans and records; act as operational support for all maintenance activities; respond promptly and professionally to client requests.
* Contract Compliance: Ensure due compliance with the PAM contract specification and provide monthly reports in the agreed format for both internal and client use.
* Health, Safety and Environment: Adhere to Integral and JLL H&S policies; maintain risk assessments, COSHH records, and safe methods of work on site; ensure compliance with PAM client requirements; promote H&S responsibilities among staff; monitor service partner compliance with legislation; manage remedial, emergency and planned works to maintain a safe environment.
* Quality of Service Delivery: Assess performance, drive improvements, update asset lists and schedules, plan labour with the Site Supervisor, and ensure work is completed efficiently by direct staff or sub-contractors; follow quality systems and maintain required site-based records; monitor KPIs, financial performance, and H&S compliance.
* Continuous Improvement: Regularly review opportunities for service improvements and cost savings; propose changes to PAM clients and implement changes in a proactive, seamless manner.
* Personnel Management & Administration: Provide technical support to the team and PAM staff; manage performance, morale, HR queries, recruitment, induction, and staffing levels; supervise workload distribution; contribute to staff and supplier appraisals; maintain administration procedures and records in line with policy.
* Finance: Manage purchasing of maintenance supplies and sub-contracts; log and process extra works; ensure timely supplier invoicing; maintain records of works and expenditure; control costs and promote best purchasing practices with nominated suppliers.
* Critical Performance Measures: Compliance with H&S policies, effective people management, financial control, meeting contract KPIs, quality maintenance management, and client liaison.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ / C&G or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
* LVAP (Desirable)
