🚨 Interim Housing Advisory Officer – 12 Month Contract 🚨

📍 Lancashire | 🏡 Hybrid Working | 💰 Negotiable Rate

I’m currently partnering with a Local Authority in Lancashire to recruit an experienced Housing Advisory Officer for an initial 12-month contract.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team delivering essential housing advice and homelessness prevention services to local residents.

🔑 The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload across prevention & relief duties
• Assessing applications under the Homelessness Reduction Act (HRA 2017)
• Creating and delivering Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
• Supporting vulnerable individuals with tailored housing advice
• Independently booking and managing Temporary Accommodation

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in housing options / housing advice
• Prior local authority experience is essential
• Proven track record handling homelessness cases
• Experience using Abritas (or similar systems)
• Confident managing TA placements and complex caseloads

🧭 Working Pattern

• First 4 weeks: Fully onsite (Lancashire)
• Then: 3 days onsite / hybrid working
