We have a proven, wireless hardware platform called Prolink. Until now, its development has lived with external partners; now, we are bringing that intelligence home. We are looking for our second internal technical hire—the \"Mr. Prolink\"—to take full ownership of our firmware and application layer and lead our transition to a cloud-connected IoT future.

Your Typical Week:
We move fast and value autonomy. Your week will likely look like this:
* Priority Setting: A Monday briefing with Simon and Gary to agree on the week's deliverables. No micromanagement—just clear goals.
* The Build: Deep-dive development on the firmware and application layer, progressing our cloud connectivity roadmap.
* The Lab: Hands-on hardware interaction—diagnosing tricky bugs, reproduction of field issues, and systematic fault-finding on physical devices.
* Collaboration: Daily syncs with Andrew (our in-house Test/Validation lead) and technical calls with Ignis, our external hardware partners.
* Quality Control: Performing code reviews on both internal and external work to ensure our standards remain world-class.
What you bring to the bench:
* Firmware Mastery: A career built on ~80% development. You’ve taken embedded products from end-to-end.
* Wireless DNA: Proven experience working with wireless/radio communication protocols on real products.
* Security Mindset: You understand how to secure an embedded device once it hits the open world of the cloud.

* Location: This is a lab-based role requiring a regular physical presence to access hardware. You must be local or willing to commute.
