As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan engaging sessions that develop technical skills, creativity, and safe working practices, while supporting learners to think critically and work independently. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver structured lessons covering a range of design and technology areas. Teach students how to safely use tools, equipment, and materials. Encourage creativity, resilience, and effective problem-solving. Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain an organised and safe learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Design Technology Teacher. Good classroom management and organisational skills. A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
