We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Head of Programmes and Projects to lead a talented team and drive forward our strategic aims. This exciting new role will support the delivery of our vision by overseeing key programs and partnerships. Key to the role is building and maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders, including Local Authorities, sports and community organisations, and funding bodies. You will lead, motivate and manage our development team to deliver on strategic priorities and oversee projects and programmes focused on children, adults, disability, equality, and long-term health conditions. You will also act as our organisational lead for safeguarding and welfare, ensuring high standards and compliance. The successful candidate will have proven experience in project and team management within the sports, physical activity, or public health sectors. This will be complemented by strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to deliver long-term plans and initiatives. Excellent communication skills are essential, as both a line manager and to build successful relationships with external and internal partners.
