A1 Personnel are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our client' engineering team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a team that values quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc controls with bar feed)
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Using various types of measuring equipment
* Machining parts to tight tolerances
* Handling both small and large batch work
* Supporting general workshop operations when needed
* Taking initiative with opportunities to help oversee shop floor operations in the future
Requirements:
* Proven experience programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings
* Confident in using precision measuring tools
* Ability to work to tight tolerances
* Experience in small and large batch production
* Positive, proactive attitude and a team player
* Experience with Haas controls
* Familiarity with Mastercam and OneCNC software
* Willingness to take on leadership or supervisory responsibilities over time
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch, paid tea breaks)
* Friday: 7:30am 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch, paid tea breaks)
