Job Description
Our client has a large manufacturing facility based in Rochdale and they are looking for hard working individuals to join their manufacturing team. They are a global company working with clients worldwide, and this role involves managing their machinery on site. The successful candidate must have a background in CNC and be confident in fault finding and servicing various machinery.
Responsibilities
1. Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and upgrades to machinery.
2. Reacting promptly to minimize downtime.
3. Diagnosing problems and resolving issues as required.
4. Ordering parts and components for repairs.
5. Providing support to the manufacturing team.
6. Interpreting engineering/technical drawings.
7. Liaising with manufacturing teams to plan maintenance and keeping logs of all work carried out.
8. Following company protocols and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Must have experience in CNC milling or grinding.
* Confident in fault finding and problem solving.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
* Ideally possess own transport and a driving license.
Hours
The company operates a two-shift rotation on a weekly basis:
* Week 1: Monday – Thursday 5:45 am – 2:00 pm & Friday 5:45 am – 11:45 am
* Week 2: Monday – Thursday 9:35 am – 6:00 pm & Friday 8:00 am – 1:40 pm
