Warehouse Operative Salary : £28,080PA Shift pattern: Mon - Fri, 13:00 - 22:00 Part time option available: Mon - Fri, 13:00 - 18:00 and 17:00 - 22:00 (salary pro-rata) Role Summary: Warehouse Operative The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading, and unloading of products, with FLTTraining Cert, Counterbalance within the warehouse operation. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly. Being a team player in part of a dynamic, successful and growing team. Key responsibilities: Represent Goldstar in a professional manner at all times. Follow all aspects of GoldstarManual Handling and safe working policies. Handle all freight with care and attention. Access and egress vehicles using the correct means. labelling freight and preferable computer literate Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight. Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot. Report all damages immediately to your line manager. Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork/scanner information. Ensure that customers freight is transported, stored safely, and treated with respect. Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team. Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues are reported immediately. Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques. Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area. Processing, picking, and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets. Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports. Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards. Moving pallets using a forklift truck. Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures. Essential: Hold ValidFLTCounterbalance Training Certificate Min. 2 years experience (advantage) Be able to provide a clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to the start date (obtained within 10 weeks) Provide a full 5-year checkable history (no gaps longer than 28 days) Able to meet the physical demands of the role. Able to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment. Ability to work by self A flexible attitude to work and hours.
