For this role, you will need experience of minute-taking at a senior or formal level, ideally within higher education or governance settings, proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the full meeting schedules for exam boards, prepare and circulate bad papers and oversee logistics. Duties: Manage and coordinate the full meeting schedule for Exam Boards and preparatory meetings Prepare, maintain, ensure accuracy of and circulate board papers and related documentation for two Exam Chairs Take clear, accurate, and professional minutes, including action logs and decisions, with an excellent eye for detail Oversee on-site logistics for all meetings, including: Booking rooms Arranging catering and taxis Ensuring equipment is in place and meetings are fully supported Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Exam’s Special Projects Team to support a smooth examination process Be on-site and on-hand during key periods to ensure all administrative elements of the exams process run smoothly Selection criteria: Proven experience of minute-taking at a senior or formal level, ideally within higher education or governance settings Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple competing tasks calmly and efficiently Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel for tracking/action logs) Vacancy ID: 19049 Please be aware that all candidates need to be able to start work immediately and must be able to work on site if required to do so.
