As a Senior Analyst working in our Customer Data team, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how we connect with millions of customers every day. Your work won’t just sit in dashboards – it will directly influence commercial strategy, marketing campaigns, and the products we bring to market. From spotting trends before they happen to building predictive models that guide multi-million-pound decisions, your insights will drive real business impact.

Responsibilities

11. Conduct analysis into customer behaviour, purchasing patterns, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights to inform decision making to enhance commercial decision making and drive business performance.
12. Translate complex data into an understandable and actionable format through engaging reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and board members.
13. Build predictive models to support business decision making.
14. Delivering data experimentation to optimise how we target and segment consumers for targeted offers and promotions.
15. Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to inform targeted marketing and sales strategies.
16. Lead on building relationships with key stakeholders, challenging and questioning the ask to build a good understanding.
17. Mentor and support junior members of the analytics team, providing guidance, fostering their professional development and advancing their analytical skills.
18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer insights with business objectives and to drive customer-centric strategies and decisions.
19. Conduct regular 1 to 1s and quarterly check ins with direct reports, engaging with regular feedback, supported development plans/performance objectives, and a robust succession plan.

Qualifications

20. Experience in customer data/analytics, ideally within the retail industry. Strong predictive analytics background, preferably in customer marketing
21. Strong expertise in data analysis and statistical modelling. Experience of data science and machine learning techniques.
22. Significant experience and strength in data visualisation and storytelling – able to communicate complexity in a straightforward and visually engaging manner, creating a compelling narrative.
23. Proficiency in analytical tools
24. Proficiency in data visualisation platforms
25. Strong relationship management skills, able to build high quality relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
26. Experience in coaching and developing others.
