GSL Education are excited to recruit a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join schools in the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley. As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy in a structured and supportive classroom. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver computer science lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage pupils to develop coding, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to support wider school initiatives. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
