About the Role
A leading accountancy practice is seeking an experienced M&A Tax Specialist to join its high-performing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest buy-outs in Europe, advising private equity houses and infrastructure funds on complex tax matters.
The role provides the chance to build a strong client portfolio, develop technical expertise, and foster strategic relationships with key industry players.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support clients with M&A tax advisory, managing high-profile transactions.
2. Provide guidance to international and mid-cap private equity houses, infrastructure funds, and emerging capital providers.
3. Assist in all stages of the deal cycle, including due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, financing input, post-acquisition implementation, and portfolio company advisory.
4. Lead tax compliance and advisory projects, ensuring adherence to complex regulatory frameworks.
5. Identify business development opportunities, fostering strong client relationships.
6. Enhance marketing and technical expertise, contributing to industry thought leadership.

Requirements
12. ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
13. Proven M&A tax or transaction tax experience, ideally within a professional services firm.
14. Strong commercial awareness, with exposure to international clients.
15. Excellent communication and project management skills, capable of analyzing complex issues and providing tailored solutions.
16. Experience as a mentor or coach, supporting junior professionals.
