This role will involve working with clients and internal teams under the direction of our technical project managers and solutions architects, focusing on the management, configuration, and administration of SaaS applications. We are looking for a technically savvy individual with significant experience in this area, particularly with Zendesk, and ideally with familiarity in other key applications similar to Slack, Okta, and Google Workspace. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative individual with a strong understanding of system administration within a SaaS environment. What You’ll Do: Serve as a subject matter expert on SaaS applications, providing administrative support and troubleshooting for client and internal system issues. Work directly with technical project managers and solutions architects to implement, configure, and manage SaaS technologies, ensuring reliable operation for ModSquad’s business and clients. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs, gather input, and implement solutions that align with business objectives. Prepare comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity for all stakeholders and users. Identify and implement solutions for immediate problems, with an emphasis on systemic changes to prevent recurrence. Stay up-to-date with best practices in modern business environments with a strong SaaS infrastructure and recommend strategic changes where beneficial. What We’re Looking For: Significant experience in administering and managing SaaS technologies, with a strong focus on Zendesk. The ideal candidate is Zendesk support administrator, solutions consultant, and/or implementation certified. Experience with administering and implementing other modern SaaS technologies is a significant plus. Proven track record of successfully collaborating with clients and internal teams under the direction of colleagues like project managers and solutions architects. Strong understanding of system administration within dynamic SaaS environments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document complex workflows and instructions clearly for a diverse audience. Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration philosophies. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A "MacGyver" approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions. Strong sense of personal accountability and the ability to work independently.
