£40,777 - £45,091 per year. Are you passionate about putting children at the heart of everything you do? Swansea Council is seeking a Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer who will champion child-focused, outcome-based commissioning in our Child and Family Services team. You will ensure that every placement and service is rigorously assessed for quality, safety, and the ability to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people. Lead the placement finding process, ensuring every option meets our high standards and is tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of each child. Work closely with social workers, fostering services, and providers to match children with the right support, always prioritising their wellbeing and long-term outcomes. Monitor and improve services, using evidence and feedback from children, families, and professionals to drive continuous improvement. Promote the voice of children and young people in all commissioning decisions, ensuring their views shape the services they receive.

Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications or significant experience in children's social care
* A deep understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and best practice
* Excellent communication, analytical, and partnership skills
* A commitment to equality, inclusion, and the rights of children
