Due to an exciting internal promotion we are recruiting for a Pre School Assistant to join our lovely team!
You should have a Level 3 qualification, experience as a key person in a busy setting, have worked for at least two years in a pre-school / nursery setting and have a thorough understanding of safeguarding children and running activities that encourage learning through play. You will plan activities and will need to be able to work in our wraparound care provision – before and after school club and our Holiday Club.
Cullompton Pre-school is a thriving community pre-school with an excellent local reputation. We have been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted in our last three inspections – 2015, 2019, 2025. Our building is well designed and resourced with a large landscaped garden and a separate wildlife garden. We currently offer our children Forest School throughout the year and a programme of visits and outings There is full time office support and our staff team is dedicated and highly motivated to provide high outcomes for all our children and families.
Our culture is very supportive and we are a close team, well-being is a top priority and staff have one ”well-being day” per year which is a paid day off. Workload is managed to ensure low stress levels and supervisions are regular and offer opportunities to discuss progress and any support needed.
