About the Role
Are you tired of the 'blame-game' in construction? As a project manager, you know that the responsibility ultimately rests with you. When faced with unforeseen issues like ground problems, subcontractor failures, or design delays, do you accept the challenge or seek better solutions?
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a management contractor working in partnership with clients. Unlike main contractors, this role allows you to focus on delivering projects without the stress of managing every financial detail, as all costs and profits are shared with the client. Your role will be to manage projects efficiently, ensuring quality and profitability while maintaining a collaborative relationship with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage residential projects, primarily in city centre locations, including Student Residential, Private Sale, or Build to Rent apartment blocks.
* Deliver projects such as a 400-unit Student Accommodation in Birmingham, with future projects across the West Midlands.
* Work on construction types including RC Frame, Steel Frame, etc.
* Report directly to the directors, fostering an open-book culture and team ethos.
Candidate Profile
Experience in construction, particularly in city centre residential projects, is essential. You should be profit and quality driven, with a collaborative attitude and leadership skills.
