Overview
Wirral Child & Young Person Mental Health Service CYPMHS (previously CAMHS) is a therapy-based service offering support to children and young people with mild to severe mental health difficulties and their families and carers. We work in close alignment with the Local Authority, education and the voluntary sector to ensure children receive the right support, from the right service at the right time.
We are a friendly, supportive and committed team offering opportunities to staff to develop their skills to improve service provision and the experience of young people accessing the service.
Role Summary
The successful applicant will be an experienced clinician who will work closely with CYPMHS leads, eating disorder specialists and core CYPMHS members to provide assessment and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be committed to helping develop and drive the CYPMHS Wirral 0-18 forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary team.
* Collaborate with CYPMHS leads and eating disorder specialists to coordinate care.
* Contribute to service development and the continual improvement of the Wirral 0-18 pathway.
Essential Criteria / Qualifications
* Access to transport for work purposes (essential).
* A core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional) AND Professional registration.
* Experience as a clinician with ability to meet the essential criteria for these posts.

Induction & Start Date
All new starters commence on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks of training to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.
