What you’ll do
Personal Carer Opportunity – Supporting a Young Man with Spinal Injury
Are you a caring, positive, and motivated individual who wants to make a real difference in someone’s life?
We are looking for a dedicated carer to support a young man who sustained a spinal injury following a car accident. He is working towards rebuilding his confidence and independence, and needs someone who can offer both practical assistance and emotional encouragement.
About the Role:
You will provide support with daily activities of living, including:
10. Personal care and mobility assistance
11. Meal preparation and light domestic tasks
12. Accompanying him to appointments or social activities
13. Encouraging and supporting him to engage in hobbies and positive activities
14. Promoting emotional wellbeing and helping maintain a positive outlook
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
15. Compassionate, reliable, and patient
16. Has a good sense of humour and an uplifting attitude
17. Able to motivate and empower others
18. Respectful of privacy and dignity at all times
19. Experience supporting people with spinal injuries or low mood is desirable but not essential — the right attitude matters most!
