This is a full-time position, offering flexibility to work between 08:00 and 20:00, with alternate weekend availability required. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live as independently as possible, promoting dignity, choice, and wellbeing at all times. Job Summary As a Support Worker, you will supporting individuals in their own homes and within the community in line with their individual care and support plans. Your role will include providing respite for carers, promoting social inclusion, and supporting the development of life skills to encourage independence. Main Duties and Responsibilities Supporting individuals to access their local community and build social connections Identifying and sourcing activities based on individual interests Supporting access to employment, education, or volunteering opportunities Managing and responding to challenging situations and behaviours in a calm, supportive manner Completing accurate, timely, and factual daily records in line with Aspire policies and CQC requirements. Working both independently and as part of a supportive team Assisting individuals with managing budgets and finances Encouraging independence in everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal organisation Providing personal care where required, in line with individual needs and care plans Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times. Essential Requirements A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Availability to work weekends The right to work in the UK (Aspire is not a sponsoring organisation) Willingness to undertake all mandatory training required for the role.
