Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Permanent
Salary: Grade D scp 6-11 (£17,273 - £18,704 per annum) (Full time equivalent £25,989 - £28,142). Plus SEN Allowance: £1,023 (FTE £1,539 per annum). 28 hours 45 minutes per week, 8:30am–3:10pm (Monday to Friday). Term time plus 5 days. 15 min unpaid morning break & 40 min unpaid lunch break.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our forward thinking school that is part of the Leverhulme Academy Trust. The successful applicant will join our supportive and friendly Special Educational Needs team.
Teaching Assistants are required to provide additional support to students and teaching staff in a variety of ways. This involves supporting students with an Educational Health Care Plan both in the classroom and during recreational time, helping with general student supervision and support during examinations.

* An effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with our children, parents and professionals
* Or, you are looking for a teaching career and would like to gain experience in a secondary school then you will be an excellent addition to our team.
