Health and Safety Manager

Your New RoleAs the CorporateHealth & Safety Manager, you will act as the organisation’s competentperson and subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with health and safetylegislation. You’ll develop and implement corporate H&S policies, deliverbespoke training, and create strategies that foster a culture of safety andwellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
* Advising senior leaders and managers on health and safety matters.
* Preparing and reviewing policies and procedures to minimise risk.
* Investigating incidents, reporting under RIDDOR where necessary, and recommending preventative measures.
* Managing and analysing H&S data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
* Leading initiatives to promote physical and mental wellbeing.
* Delivering training sessions to empower staff and managers in meeting their H&S obligations.
This role includesline management responsibilities and requires collaboration with internal andexternal stakeholders. What You’ll Need to Succeed
* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
* Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, risk assessment methodologies, and best practice.
* At least 3 years’ experience in occupational health and safety roles.
* Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and deliver training.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
* A proactive approach to promoting health and safety and driving continuous improvement.
