This hands-off (if you prefer) leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in embedded systems architecture, IoT (Internet of Things), and cloud integration strategies.
Shape the future of technology by guiding a talented engineering team that designs and delivers cutting-edge embedded software solutions and scalable cloud-connected platforms.
Hybrid work model – Office easily accessible from South East London, with remote flexibility built in.
* Drive the technical vision and software architecture across embedded and cloud domains
* Lead and mentor engineers working on real-time systems, firmware, and connected IoT devices
* Oversee the full software development lifecycle of embedded-to-cloud solutions
* Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate software with hardware, sensors, and cloud APIs
* Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering best practices
* Deep expertise in embedded software development, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and cloud services
* Proven leadership in managing cross-functional software teams
* Strong communication and strategic decision-making skills
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field (preferred)
